Charlotte has been involved in the running of Jenkin Piano Service since it was founded in 1985.
Originally from Switzerland, she moved to New Zealand in the mid 1970s and married David a few years later.
While Jenkin Piano Service was still being run from her and David's family home in the 1980s, she juggled raising three children, completing a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Teaching Diploma and managing the bookings and accounts for the fledgling business.
She later taught English and languages at high school level for several years while still acting as office administrator for the company.
Following Jenkin Piano Service's move to larger premises, Charlotte decided to devote herself to the full time management of the company's day-to-day running.
As business manager she takes bookings, liaises with clients and manages the company's accounts.
Charlotte enjoys reading, theatre, sailing, etching and her garden. She speaks German, Swiss-German, English, French, a smattering of Italian and is currently improving her Spanish.
